 Tamagotchi Smart is the device that marks the 25th anniversary of the Tamagotchi franchise, and it brings with it a lot of firsts. This is the first device marketed as a wearable, with a detachable strap included with every Tamagotchi Smart. It is also the first to feature both a touch screen and voice recognition. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, it is the first to finally introduce a rechargeable internal battery, which consequently slims it down compared to past color Tamagotchi toys. Like the Tamagotchi P's, special "TamaSmaCard" peripherals can be purchased separately to add new characters, items, games, and other features to the experience. |
