The Keitei Kaitsuu Tamagotchi Plus (or K-Tama) was a Japanese-exclusive unit that was the followup to the original Tamagotchi Plus. While the English Connection V3 was based on the K-Tama physically, the K-Tama had numerous unique features, namely the ability to interact with cell phones. Special "akai" units were released that have red pixels.

The Hanerutchi line are K-Tamas featuring characters from the Japanese comedy show Haneru No Tobira.
